LOCATION.. is everything

This community will be sustainable, healthy, and successful

because it feeds into an existing, cohesive community, helping to make both more

successful.

The site is a 15 minute walk and a 5 minute bike ride from the historic town centre of

Bridgewater.

Neighbouring the site is a commercial area serving a regional customer base,

including amenities such as grocery stores, restaurants, and a bowling alley.

Nearby institutions include a court, police station, a YMCA and the Nova Scotia

Community College (NSCC) campus.

Active transportation

The site integrates directly into Bridgewater’s future Active Transportation network.

The greatest opportunity is the site’s proximity to Nova Scotia’s largest greenway network.

Neighbouring the site to the North is a 130 km series of trails that lead all the way to Halifax.

A future connection through the NSCC can provide Olde Town Hills access to this amazing trail network
